How does this speed my website up? By removing or minifying unnecessary code, this tool reduces the size of your CSS files. Smaller CSS files mean faster downloads for your visitors, which leads to quicker page load times.
Can I upload and compress CSS files? Yes, click the “UPLOAD & COMPRESS FILE(S)” tab and select the CSS file you want to compress. To upload multiple files, click the “Select More Files” link. When you compress multiple CSS files, they will be combined into a single larger script. You can upload up to 10 CSS files at once.
Is my code still readable after using your tool? That depends on your preference. If you enable the “Add line break after every { } rule” option, the compressor will insert line breaks after each CSS rule to improve readability. However, this slightly increases the file size. For the smallest possible CSS file, it’s best to leave this option off.
